The Black Mamba is the largest venomous elapid snake in Africa and second in the whole world next to the King Cobra. The Black Mamba is also known to be the fastest snake in the world which can move up to 20 kilometers per hour. Quick and poisonous, indeed the Black Mamba is one of the deadliest species in the planet!

There are two kinds of Black Mamba, one is the elapid snake and the other is Kobe Bryant, the greatest basketball player in the planet today! Oh yeah, aside from the nickname Black Mamba, Bryant is also known as KB24. Kobe Bryant possesses the basic characteristics of the Black Mamba snake — quick and deadly! Talk about his shooting skills, quickness in the open court and the high IQ for the game.

The NBA’s Black Mamba, Kobe Bean Bryant, was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bryant is an American All-Star shooting guard in the National Basketball Association who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in his 11th season.

Bryant’s name exploded to national fame in 1996 when he became the first guard in league history to be drafted out of high school. And since then, he set the trend and led a pack of high school basketball players skipping tertiary education for pro-ball. Bryant led the league in scoring for two straight seasons. He broke records and was chosen by various companies to be their endorser and he became the face of products such as Adidas, Nike, Sprite and McDonalds.
